Jesus healed ten lepers in today's Gospel. Only one came back to say thank you. I, too, have received many blessings from the Lord - indeed, all I am and all I have is gift! How and how often have I remembered to thank Him?

Dear Friends in Christ,
Today is Commitment Sunday for our Annual Stewardship Renewal. After the homily, there will be an opportunity for those who have not yet filled out their commitment cards to do so, and then all the commitments will be collected and placed in front of the altar. If you have already mailed your commitment card in, thank you for doing so.
October is the month of Mary and the rosary (the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary was this past Thursday, Oct. 7th). In conjunction with this observance, our choir will have a concert with music for the Blessed Virgin Mary this Sunday afternoon, October 10th, at 3 p.m. in the church. Our choir members and Director of Music, Brent McWilliams, have practiced many hours in preparation for this concert. Come and show your support for them and enjoy some beautiful sacred music.
Elsewhere in this bulletin you will find information about an Open House by Catholic Charities. You are invited to tour the Catholic Charities facility and learn more about the good works your gifts support. If you have not made a pledge for this year’s Catholic Charities appeal, you can do so by filling out a pledge envelope found on the countertop in the gathering area.
This Sunday, October 10th, Birth Choice will hold its annual "Walk for Life" at the Crystal Bridge in the Myriad Gardens. Festivities and sign-up start at 1 p.m. and the walk starts at 2 p.m. Free drinks, hot dogs, music, face-painting, and a moon walk are all part of the festivities. For over 30 years Birth Choice has served Oklahoma, touching the lives of over 350,000 women while serving as a beacon of hope to women with unexpected pregnancies. A campaign is underway to build a new facility to house all three south side Birth Choice operations. Call 636-4072 for more information.
The damage from the fire in the gathering area, cry room, women’s restroom, and parish nurse’s office has almost been repaired. Lights ordered for the gathering area were not the right size, which has delayed the finishing touches. The ushers will continue passing out bulletins in the gathering area before Mass, but will no longer do so after Mass. Bulletins can be found at every entryway.
In the peace of Christ,
Fr. Jacobi
