Mission Statement: Our mission is to warmly welcome people to Mass.
1. Our ministry requires about 60 volunteers. We currently have 45 greeters in the ministry.
2. Volunteers are needed to greet people attending the Saturday 5:00 Mass and the Sunday 8:00 and 10:00 Masses.
3. It takes about 20 minutes to greet for a Mass. People generally greet once or twice a month.
4. Greeters prepare coffee and donuts after the 10:00 Mass on every 5th Sunday of a month.
5. Greeters also have a dress code. Men are required to wear slacks and a coat. During the summer months, men are allowed to wear slacks and a short sleeved shirt. Women are required to wear slacks or a dress.
6. The Greeter ministry has a “three strikes” rule. If a person accumulates three absentees without getting someone to greet in their absence, then the volunteer’s participation in the ministry will be re-evaluated. If necessary, the volunteer may be excused from participating.
